A calmer, more consistent payglue.io
We went over every page of payglue.io, apart from the blog, and replaced each page's own choices with one system. New typefaces, served from our own domain instead of a font service. One spacing scale, one heading size, one set of icons instead of a mix of symbols and emoji, and three surfaces instead of five. The provider logos are now part of the page rather than images loaded from two outside services, so a visit to the landing page no longer tells anyone else you were there. Small things answer the pointer: cards lift a little, arrows move towards where a button goes, and sections settle into place as you scroll, unless your system asks for reduced motion.
- Geist, Inter and Geist Mono, self-hosted
- One icon set across the landing page, the comparison pages and the legal pages
- Provider logos inline instead of from cdn.simpleicons.org and creem.io
- Scroll reveal on the landing page, off with reduced motion
