Readers who buy more than one product keep the access they still pay for
A reader can buy more than one thing from you: a membership first, an archive or an ebook later. When one of those purchases ended, PayGlue took away the reader's access completely, even though another purchase was still active. Ghost knows only one kind of access per member, and we did not check the other products before ending it. Now we do. When one product ends and another is still active, only that product's label comes off and the reader keeps their access. When the last one ends, the access ends as before. While fixing this we found a second problem: every purchase replaced all labels on the member, including labels you had added yourself. PayGlue now keeps those and changes only its own.
- Ending one product checks the member's other products first
- Labels you add to a member by hand stay where they are
- Explained in the docs under A member with several products
- Shipped in PayGlue-OS v0.9.6, thanks to a careful report in our open-source repository
