Gumroad and PayPal cancellations now keep access until the paid period ends
When a reader cancels a Gumroad or PayPal subscription, they have already paid for the current period. Until now PayGlue removed their access the moment they cancelled. Now they keep it until that period ends, as they already did with Polar, Lemon Squeezy and Dodo Payments.
- Gumroad tells us the day the paid period ends. PayGlue keeps access until then and removes it when Gumroad reports the end of the subscription. Before this fix, Gumroad cancellations were not read at all, so access was never removed on cancellation.
- PayPal sends nothing when the period runs out. PayGlue now works out the end date from the subscription and removes access in the night after it. If the reader resumes the subscription before then, they keep their access.
In Analytics → Webhook Events a cancellation now shows as Skipped, with the date access runs until.
The same change is in PayGlue-OS v0.12.2.
